The 3D printing Advanced course for technical materials is dedicated to you that have previous skills. You can optimize the 3D printing of technical materials in you business for the creation of functional prototypes or parts to be used in production.
Minimum required skills
You must have participated in our 3D printing Basic Course (or the Advanced 3D printing course).
What you will get with this course
You will learn what technical materials can be used in FFF technology, what are their properties and how to use them in your project.
Also learn how to set up the best profile for your third-party material.

The courses are held online in WEBINAR mode. This solution will allow you to attend the course wherever you are, on your computer or portable device.
Our online platform allows the recording of the training, for you to be consulted up to 3 months after the session. (We ask explicit instructions if you don’t want for any reason your session to be recorded. The use WASP will do of this data will be exclusively in the interest of the customer.) The proximity and operativity of the printer during the training is not required.

TOPICS
- Overview of FDM 3D printing materials;
- Functional prototypes and production parts;
- How we evaluate the performance of a material;
- Thermal and chemical resistance;
- Technical materials: ABS, ASA, HIPS, PA + Carbon, PC, TPU, PP, PPS;
- Post processing based on the material (processes, solvents);
- Material shrinking management;
- Management of the material adhesion to the printing bed;
- Slicing for advanced materials (with Simplify 3D);
- Create a print profile with stress tests;
- How to choose the ideal extruder and nozzle.

The course will have a maximum number of 10 partecipants, minimum 4.

Giulio Buscaroli
Giulio is our expert in technical and medical materials 3d printing. He and his skills will be at your disposal during these training hours.
Calendar
Normally the course lasts 5 hours, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00.
The date of the course is scheduled upon request. The course will be held in Italian or English, it will depend on the request we receive.
Prices
This advanced course costs 500 Euro (VAT Excluded).
Maximum number of participants is 4.

- By car: A14 Highway, exit at Imola, then follow the signs for Massa Lombarda, Fruges.It’s easy but it’s better to set your car navigator!
- By train: It is a bit complicated to get to Massa Lombarda by train, there is a station but it is poorly served: you can find timetables on www.trenitalia.it or on https://www.zaganellibus.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/MODIFICHE-LINEA-177-OTTOBRE-2019.pdf.
- By bus: Bus is better if you arrive from Bologna, you can take a TPer bus. https://www.tper.it/
